1.06.24 Thread check spring and thread regulator
Requirement
1. The stroke of thread check spring 3 must be completed when the needle point enters
the material (spring stroke roughly 7 mm).
2. Thread regulator 4 must be fi xed in its elongated hole so that thread check spring 3 has
moved by about 1 mm when the hook has widened the thread loop to its maximum.
● Turn thread tension 1 (screws 2) according to Requirement.
● Shift thread regulator 4 (screws 5) fully upwards.
The stroke of thread check spring 3 and the position of thread regulator 4
depend on the type of thread and material used and should be adjusted
according to the appearance of the seam.
