10 POST-INSTALLATION CHECK LIST
X-ray unit movements
Check the C-arm and column movements.
X-ray beam
Check the beam alignment. Refer to the X-ray unit’s Technical Manual, section “Adjusting
and calibrating X-ray beam”.
If necessary, adjust the X-ray beam according to the instructions given in the Technical
Manual.
Patient positioning lights
Check the position of the patient positioning lights (midsagittal plane light, layer light and
Frankfort plane light). Refer to the X-ray unit’s Technical Manual, section “Adjusting the
positioning lights”.
If necessary, adjust the patient positioning lights according to the instructions given in the
Technical Manual.
Taking a ball phantom exposure
Take a ball phantom exposure according to the instructions given in the X-ray unit’s
Technical Manual, section “Taking a ball phantom exposure”.
If necessary, adjust the position of the patient support table and C-arm according to the
instructions given in the Technical Manual.
Emergency stop button
Check the emergency stop button functionality.
