4. While holding a shop towel over the fuel line
connectors, disconnect the fuel supply line
q
from
the pump. Refer to “Fuel Line Replacement”page
procedure.
NOTICE
A small amount of fuel may come out of the fuel lines or
pump fitting. Properly drain fuel into a suitable
container.
5. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical harness
w
.
6. Remove the fuel cap.
7. Remove the interior body components down to the
rear lower close-off panel. Refer to “Interior Body
Component Removal”page 10.35 procedure.
8. Remove the fasteners holding the seat base
assembly to the vehicle.
9. Lift the rear of the fuel tank up first. Carefully pull the
fuel tank out of the vehicle.
