FUEL PUMP / FUEL FILTERS
1. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank under the
passenger seat.
2. To access the fuel pump move the PFA cap

disconnect fuel line and the loosen the PFA nut
w
.
3. The engine uses a high-volume, high-pressure, fuel
pump that includes a preliminary pickup filter
e
and
an internal filter
r
located before the pump regulator.
4. Cycle the ignition key to pressurize the fuel pump in
accordance with the periodic maintenance chart.
Inspect pump for damage or leaks.
NOTICE
Reference Chapter 4 for fuel pump replacement and
other information related to the EFI system.
