Steering Cable Adjustment
1. Open front compartment door and then tool kit door.
2. Locate alignment hole on the bottom of the steering
post. Insert 1/8² dowel or drill bit into hole. The
steering assembly is now locked in the correct
position.
3. Place a straight edge across horizontal center line
of steering nozzle or trim nozzle. See Ill. 2.
4. Measure distance from straight edge to hull on left
and right side. Be sure to measure at right angles to
the straight edge and at equal distances from the
nozzle. The distance at (X) should be equal when
handlebars are straight.

5. After adjustments are made, remove the drill bit or
dowel prior to operating the watercraft.
Insert drill bit or dowel into hole to lock
lock steering in center position.
Place straight edge across horizontal
center line of steering nozzle or trim
nozzle.
