Using Device Mode
Connect your computer to the Poly Studio G62 system USB Type-C and HDMI input ports to use the 
Poly Studio G62 connected peripherals from your computer in Device Mode.
NOTE: After connecting your computer to they Poly Studio G62, enter Device Mode to use the 
system peripherals from your computer.
Connect an Alt DP capable USB Type-C computer port to the USB Type-C port on the Poly Studio 
G62 system to use a single cable for Device Mode or sharing content. Poly Studio G62 Alt DP mode 
supports the following cable for Alt DP:
USB Type-C 1.83 m (6 ft.) cable, part number L07087-002

Updating your Poly Studio G62 system
You have several options to update your system software, depending on your environment.
NOTE: If you provision your system, the software update methods in the system web interface are 
unavailable. Configure the software update method using your chosen provisioning method.
1. In the system web interface, go to General Settings > Device Management.
2. Select one of the following options in the Download Update From field:

Description
Poly Online Support Center A software server hosted by Poly.
By default, your system is set to use the Poly update server for 
software updates. You can enable automatic updates or manually 
update your system using the system web interface.
To use the Poly update server, make sure that your system 
can access swupdate.lens.poly.com. This URL is for system 
software access only. You can't access this server from a web 
browser.
