Changing the Audible Ringer
The SoundPoint IP 450 phone can play the audible ringer of an incoming call
through any of its alerting destinations: the speaker, the handset, the headset
(if enabled), or the active destination.
To change the audible ringer:
1 Press .
2 Select Settings > Basic > Preferences > Audible Ringer.
3 Scroll to select the desired ring destination.
Choose Speaker, Handset, Headset, or Active as the alerting destination
for the audible ringer.
4 Press the Select soft key to change to the selected audible ringer.
Changing the Language
The SoundPoint IP 450 phone supports many languages.
To change the language:
1 Press .
2 Select Settings > Basic > Preferences > Language.
Note
If the Active destination is selected, the audible ringer is played through:
• The speaker, by default.
• The handset, if it is off-hook and the phone is idle.
• The headset, if it is connected and Headset Memory Mode is enabled (refer to
Changing the Ring Type on page 77).
