6. Maintenance
6.1. General survey
Check regularly:
⚫ if the pump functions properly.
Excessive noise may indicate problems like worn-out bearings, gear trouble, dragging of
the rotors or cavitation.
⚫ if applicable: pressure and flow of the flushing system.
⚫ if applicable: the temperature of the heating system.
⚫ the oil level. When the oil level has been reduced, check the pump for oil leakage.
⚫ the pressure at suction- and delivery side.
6.2. Oil change
⚫ Change the oil in the gearbox every 3000 operating hours, or at least once a year. See
paragraph 9.1 for oil specifications
