Procedure 7.7 - Replacing the On/Off Switch
(C846 version 1 only)
1. Set the on/off switch in the off position.
2. Remove the right hand cover per Procedure 7.1.
3. Remove the black wires from the positive terminal of the battery (the positive battery
terminal is denoted with a red stripe, see Diagram 7.9).
4. Note the position of the blue and black wires and disconnect them from the on/off switch.
5. Note the orientation of the on/off switch, depress the tabs on the on/off switch and slide the
switch out of the mounting panel.
6. Orient the replacement on/off switch as noted in step 4 and slide the switch into the
mounting panel. Be sure that the switch snaps into place and both tabs are securely behind
the mounting panel.
7. Replace the blue and black wires in the positions noted in step 3.
8. Replace the black wires on the positive terminal of the battery.
9. Check the operation of the cycle per Section 4.
10. Replace the cover per Procedure 7.1.
