CAUTION: Do not overtighten the screws
or you may inadvertently cause stress
cracks in the plastic.

Install the lift cover.
Remove fasteners
22. Install the lift cover. Diagram 14. The center holes (see inset) on the lift cover
are used for mounting it to the base of the upright bracket support. (The two side
holes are used for a different assembly.)
a. Position the lift cover as shown in Diagram 14.
b. Insert the 3/4-inch screw into the mounting hole closest to the ramp and
finger tighten.
c. Insert the 1/2-inch screw closest to the upright support.
d. Tighten both screws with a phillips head screwdriver.
Important: Do not overtighten or you may crack the plastic cover.

23. Install side covers. Diagram 15. Perform the following steps on one side of the
unit and then, repeat the steps on the opposite side.
a. Grasp one side cover and rotate it so that it slips inside the ramp cutout.
Have your assistant hold it in place.
b. Remove the two 3/4-inch buttonhead screws (E) and 5/32-inch hex key (B)
from the Hardware kit.
c. Insert the two screws (E) at the top of the cover and alternately tighten using
the hex key (B).
d. Insert the two phillips head screws (removed earlier from the base in step 21)
and alternately tighten using a phillips head screwdriver.
e. Perform steps a through d on the opposite side.
