Note: ORP light ashes green when chlorine signal is present
To power up the system:
1. Connect the control box to a dedicated AC power source in accordance with the site requirements secon 4.1.1.
2. Aer a 30 sec boot-up period, the box will power up with the indicator lights turning on. Conrm the following indicator lights are on:
Power : red/o.....A red OFF indicator light means the box is powered and on standby.
Mode : green/ORP or MANUAL.....Indicates the last operang mode the control box was in.
Flow : green…..Indicates there is ow in the pool recirculaon piping. If there is no light, there is either no ow in the piping, the
orange ow switch cable is not correctly connected to the ow switch, or the ow switch is bad.
FEED, WASH, ALERT…..O when the power is on O.
3. Slowly open the inlet ball valve to allow water to ow through the manifold.
4. Press the control box power buon to energize the system.
5. Put the control box on manual mode to energize the feed solenoid valve and send water into the hopper.
6. Check for leaks from lines, valves, and connecons. If necessary, ghten parts.
7. Put the control box back on ORP mode.
8. Connect the control box ORP plug to an ORP (chemical controller) chlorine demand output.
9. Use the ORP controller to send a chlorine feed signal to conrm operaon of the Pulsar® Precision control box.
10. When the chlorine signal is removed, verify that the controller goes into four wash cycles of 15 sec On and 15 sec O.
11. Once all operang condions are veried, press the power buon on the control box to put it back into standby.
