ATTENTION!
This product is only to be used to position a single person in a wheelchair. It is not
suitable for use as a transportation restraint. Failure to heed these warnings may result in severe
injury or death.
ATTENTION!
An unintended opening of the chest strap can result in the user falling forward out
of the chair. If the movements or the cognitive agility of the user may lead to an unintended
opening for the chest strap always a carer or assistive person has to be present when using the
chair. Make sure all assistive persons are advised how to open the belts. Not doing so can lead to
delays in emergency situations.
ATTENTION!
Like with all positioning components there is a risk that the person changes the
seating position over time. Riders need to check regularly the belts fitting to make sure it is used
safely and comfortable. We recommend users do their regular activities against pressure sore and
check their skin condition.
Maintenance: Sunrise Medical recommends that all fasteners be checked monthly for wear, such as
loose bolts or broken components. Loose fasteners should be retightened according to
the installation instructions.
Check chest strap monthly for frayed straps, ripped seams or other indications of excessive wear
damage. Discontinue use if damages found. Chest straps should be replaced at the first indication of
damage and/or excessive wear. If broken or loose component is identified, immediately discontinue
use and contact your authorized Sunrise Medical supplier for replacement.
