Indoor PoE
1. Connect an ethernet cable between the lower LPU (or the ODU POE port) and the
indoor POE "Out" port.
2. Connect the data source cable according to the type of cable as follows:
a. data provided over an ethernet cable - connect an Ethernet cable between
the data source (switch) to the indoor POE "In" port.
b. data provided over an SFP cable - connect the SFP cable directly to the ODU
SFP (labeled “LAN”) port.
3. Connect the power cable to the indoor PoE.
Outdoor PoE
1. Connect the data source cable according to the type of cable as follows:
a. data provided over an ethernet cable - connect an Ethernet cable between
the data source (switch) to the outdoor PoE "ETH” port, fasten it with a cable
gland, then add tape.
b. data provided over an SFP cable - connect the SFP cable directly to the ODU
SFP (labeled “LAN”) port.
2. Connect the ground cable.
3. Connect the power cable to the outdoor PoE.
