Link Budget Calculator
C.1 Overview
The Link Budget Calculator is a utility for calculating the expected
performance of the WinLink wireless link and the possible
configurations for a specific link range.
The utility allows you to calculate the expected RSS of the link, and find
the type of services and their effective throughput as a function of the
link range and deployment conditions.
The Link Budget Calculator is supplied on the WinLink Manager CD.
After installation, it may also be accessed from the menu bar of the
WinLink Manager (see
Figure C-1).
