2 Networking applications
This chapter describes typical networking applications of the ISCOM RAX711, including the
following sections:
SME access and mobile backhaul
Typical end-to-end ELPS
Typical ERPS
2.1 SME access and mobile backhaul networking
As shown in Figure 2-1, in MAN access application, as an EDD, the ISCOM RAX711
connects to the ISCOM2924GF-4C in the uplink to implement SME leased line access and
mobile backhaul access.
An EDD can be connected to two ISCOM2924GF-4C devices to implement dual homing link
protection. Two or more ISCOM2924GF-4C devices can form a G.8032 ring network, and the
APS time is less than 50ms. In this application, network reliability is enhanced.
The SME user, eNodeB, or NodeB can be connected to the EDD flexibly for leased line
access or mobile backhaul through the FE or GE interface.
