2.2 Typical end-to-end ELPS networking
As shown in Figure 2-2, in the application of connecting the headquarter and the branch, as a
remote device, the ISCOM RAX711 reliably connects them.
This application has the following features:
Utilize existing Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network as the core network.
Be connected to two ISCOM2924GF-4GE/4C devices. This implements dual homing.
Support end-to-end Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) and high-
precision SLA test.
Support end-to-end ELPS. This guarantees high reliability of network connections.
This application can use the MPLS-supportive ISCOM2924GF-4GE/4C as the Provider Edge
(PE) device.
