In terms of hardware, the ISCOM RAX711 is composed of the main control card, control unit,
switch unit, port unit, power supply module, and so on.
Main control card
The main control card has the following functions:

Control signaling.

Switch packets.

Manage the ISCOM RAX711.
The main control card is an integration of multiple functional units, such as the control unit,
switch unit, and port unit.
Control unit
The control unit has the following functions:

Process various protocol packets.

Monitor and maintain the switch unit and port unit on the main control card.

Work as the agent of the user, follow the user's commands to manage the system and
monitoring performance, and send back operating status to the user.
Switch unit
The switch unit switches packets between port units, conducts QoS scheduling and access
control. By adopting a high-performance chip, it supports full linear speed forwarding and
provides fast and multi-priority data exchange.
Port unit
The port unit provides the SNMP interface, Console interface, and multiple Ethernet
interfaces. It manages and transmits Ethernet services.
