ManualYoucanadjusttheNoiseFilter
manually,betweenavalueof0%to100%.
Alowvaluedecreasesthedepthatwhichthe
lterisapplied.
Ahighvalueincreasesthedepthatwhichthe
lterisapplied.
Thenewvaluesremainsetevenwhenyouswitch
offthedisplay.
AdjustingtheNoiseFilter
FollowthestepsbelowtoadjusttheNoiseFilter.
FromtheFishnderapplication:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectSensitivitySettings.
3.SelectNoiseFilter.
TheNoiseltersliderbarcontrolisdisplayed.
4.AdjusttheNoiseFiltertotherequiredvalue,or
5.SelecttheAutocheckboxtoswitchtoAuto
mode.
Note:TheNoiseltercanalsobeadjustedby
selectingtheon-screenN.Filtercontrol.
Colorthreshold
Colorthresholddeterminesthesignalstrength
belowwhichtargetsarenotshown.Traditionaland
CHIRPsonarusedifferentcolorstodeterminesignal
strengthswhilstDownVision
TM
usesmonochrome
shading.
TheColorThresholdsettingisaglobalsetting.When
thecolorthresholdvalueischangedallFishnder
applicationpanesonallnetworkedmultifunction
displayswillsharethesamecolorthresholdvalue.

transducer.Powermodecanbesettoautomaticor
adjustedmanuallybetween0%and100%.Power
modeisonlyavailableonCHIRP ,Traditionaland
Legacysonarmodules.
AutoThisisthedefaultsetting.Whenauto
isselectedthesonarmoduleautomatically
determinestheoptimumsettingbasedonthe
currentdepth,speed,and(bottom)signalstrength.
ManualYoucanadjustthepowerlevelbetween
in1%increments.Lowerpowerlevelsare
normallyusedindepthrangeslessthan2.4m(8
ft.)andhigherpowerlevelsaretypicallyselected
fordepthsgreaterthan3.7m(12ft.).
