4.Entertheusernameandpasswordforthe
network.
RemovingaWi-FiAccesspoint/mobile
hotspot
OnceyourMFDhasconnectedtoanetwork
thedetailswillbesavedandtheMFDwilltryto
re-connecttothatnetworkwheneveritisinrange,if
theMFDhasnoactiveconnection.
FromtheWi-FiNetworkslist:(Homescreen>
Set-up>WirelessConnections>Wi-Fi>Wi-Fi
Networks)
1.Selectthenetworkthatyouwanttoremove.
Networksnotcurrentlyactiveorinrangewillnot
bedisplayed.
2.SelectForgetfromtheNetwork’sdetailspage.
TheMFDwillnolongerconnecttothisnetwork,
tore-connecttothisnetworkrefertothe21.2
ConnectingtoaWi-Fiaccesspoint/hotspot
section.
SwitchingtheconnectedMFD
InsystemswithmultipleMFDs,youcanswitchwhich
MFDhastheactiveconnectiontotheWi-FiAccess
point/mobilehotspot.Thismaybeusefulwhen
connectingtoWi-FiataMarina,anMFDlocatedon
theFlybridgemayreceiveastrongersignalthan
anMFDinstalledbelowdecks.IftheMFDyouare
usingisnottheMFDwithanactiveconnectionthen
theWi-FiNetworkspagewillidentifywhichMFDis
connectedtothenetwork.
FromtheMFDyouwanttoconnect:
1.SelectthenetworkfromtheWi-FiNetworks
list:(Homescreen>Set-up>Wireless
Connections>Wi-Fi>Wi-FiNetworks)
Theconnectionwillbeswitchedtothesecond
MFD.

listofavailablenetworks.

4.ThenetworkstatuswillchangetoConnected.

accessthebuilt-inwebinterfaceofcertainproducts
(e.g.AX8).Dependingondeviceandwebbrowser
applicationused,itmayalsobepossibletoaccess
thewebinterfaceusingaconnectedsmartdevice.
WithyourlaptopconnectedtoyourMFD:
1.Obtaintheproduct’sIPaddress.
ForRaymarineproduct’stheIPaddressis
displayedonthediagnosticspageaccessedby
selectingtherelevantdevicefromtheMFD’s
Diagnosticsmenu:(Homescreen>Set-up>
Maintenance>Diagnostics>SelectDevice).
