1.Power-offtheRadar.
2.Removeoneoftheantenna-securingboltsandassociatedwashers.
3.Cleantheboltandwashers.
4.Ensurethatthepassagetothe"breather"fromthesideoftheunitisclearofsealantorpaint,or
otherobstacles.Formoreinformationonthe"breather",referto:5.1Mountingpre-requisite:
"breather"holes
5.Replacetheboltandassociatedwashers.
6.Repeatsteps1to5forallantenna-securingbolts.
7.Tightenallantenna-securingboltstoatorqueof15Nm(133ftlbf).
Periodically,carryouttheseothermaintenancetasks,withtheRadarpoweredoff:
•Ensuretheantennaisfirmlyattachedtothemountingsurface.
•Checkthatanyconnectedcablesareingoodconditionandsecurelyattached.
•Examineallcablesforsignsofchafing,cutsorotherdamage.
