Switching on
Press switch

until the warning
lightisdisplayedingreenonthein
strument panel. Warning light
comes on the instrument panel. The
message"CruisecontrolON"message
appearsontheinstrumentpanelac
companied by dashes to indicate that
thecruisecontrolfunctionisinopera
tion and waiting to store a cruising
speed.
Activating cruise control
While the vehicle is moving a steady
speed above approximately 19 mph
(30km/h),pressswitch

(SET/-) or
switch
5
(SET/+):thefunctionisacti
vated and the current speed is taken
into account.
Thecruisingspeedreplacesthedash
es. Cruise control is confirmed when
the stored speed and warning
light appear in green.
If you try to activate the function below
19mph(30km/h),themessage"In
valid Speed" will be displayed and the
function will remain inactive.
Note: the cruise control speed can be
changedatanytimeaslongastheve
hicle speed is between 19 mph (30
km/h) and the maximum speed of the
vehicle.
Driving
Once a cruising speed is memorised
andthecruisecontrolfunctionisac
tive,youmayliftyourfootofftheaccel
erator pedal.
Please note that you
must keep your feet
closetothepedalsinor
dertoreactinanemer
gency.
Adjusting the cruising speed
The cruising speed may be changed
by pressing the following repeatedly:
– switch
4
(SET/-) to reduce speed;
– switch
5
(SET/+) to increase speed.
Note: press and hold one of the
switchestomodifyspeedbysucces
sive increments.
Exceeding the cruising speed
The cruising speed may be exceeded
atanytimebydepressingtheacceler
ator pedal. While it is being exceeded,
thecruisingspeedflashesonthein
strument panel.
Then, release the accelerator pedal:
