Switching on
Press switch 1 until the warning
lightisdisplayedingreenonthein
strument panel. Warning light
comes on the instrument panel. The
message"CruisecontrolON"message
appearsontheinstrumentpanelac
companied by dashes to indicate that
thecruisecontrolfunctionisinopera
tion and waiting to store a cruising
speed.
Activating cruise control
While the vehicle is moving a steady
speed above approximately 19 mph
(30km/h),pressswitch 4 (SET/-) or
switch 5 (SET/+):thefunctionisacti
vated and the current speed is taken
into account.
Thecruisingspeedreplacesthedash
es. Cruise control is confirmed when
the stored speed and warning
light appear in green.
If you try to activate the function below
19mph(30km/h),themessage"In
valid Speed" will be displayed and the
function will remain inactive.
Note: the cruise control speed can be
changedatanytimeaslongastheve
hicle speed is between 19 mph (30
km/h) and the maximum speed of the
vehicle.
Driving
Once a cruising speed is memorised
andthecruisecontrolfunctionisac
tive,youmayliftyourfootofftheaccel
erator pedal.
Please note that you
must keep your feet
closetothepedalsinor
dertoreactinanemer
gency.
Adjusting the cruising speed
The cruising speed may be changed
by pressing the following repeatedly:
– switch 4 (SET/-) to reduce speed;
– switch 5 (SET/+) to increase speed.
Note: press and hold one of the
switchestomodifyspeedbysucces
sive increments.
Exceeding the cruising speed
The cruising speed may be exceeded
atanytimebydepressingtheacceler
ator pedal. While it is being exceeded,
thecruisingspeedflashesonthein
strument panel.
Then, release the accelerator pedal:
