128 - Getting to know your vehicle
General information
Dependingonthevehicle,thisin
cludes the following functions:
– mileage;
– trip settings;
– information messages;
– operating fault messages (related to
the warning light);
– warning messages (related to the
warning light).
Vehicle fitted with trip computer A
Scroll through the following information
by repeatedly pressing button 2 or 3
(the display depends on the vehicle
equipment and country):
a) total mileage and trip mileage
recorder;
b) journey settings:
– average fuel consumption;
– current fuel consumption;
– Estimated range with remaining fuel;
– distance travelled;
– average speed;
c) current speed;
d) service and oil change interval;
e) Reset the tyre pressure
f) triplog,operatingfaultsandinforma
tion message readout;
g) engine coolant temperature;
h) clock and exterior temperature;
i) general adjustment.
Trip mileage resetting
Withthe"Tripmileagerecorder"se
lected on the display, press button 2 or
3 until the mileage recorder resets to
zero.
Resetting the journey parameters

Withoneofthejourneyparametersse
lected on the display, press button 2 or
3 until the display resets to zero. With
oneofthejourneyparametersselect

until the display resets to zero.
Resetting the trip mileage recorder

With one of the trip settings selected
as the display, press and hold switch 4
"OK" until the display resets to zero.
Interpreting some of the values
displayed after resetting
Thevaluesshowingaveragefuelcon
sumptionandaveragespeedwillbe

ther you have travelled since the last
time the Reset button was pressed.
The average fuel consumption may
decrease when:
– the vehicle stops accelerating;
– the engine reaches its operating
temperature (if the engine was cold
when the reset key was pressed);
– whendrivingfromanurbanareaon
to the open road.
Automatic resetting of the journey
parameters
Resetting occurs automatically when
themaximumvalueofanyofthepara
meters is exceeded.
