Switching off the lights
The lights will go out automatically
when the engine is switched off, the
driver's door is opened or the vehicle is
locked. In this case, the next time the
engine is started the lights will be
switchedbackonaccordingtothepo
sition of the ring

.
Note: if the fog lights are lit, the lights
are not switched off automatically.
Lights-on reminder audible alarm
If the lights are on after the engine is
switched off, a warning beep sounds
whenthedriver’sdoorisopenedto
warn you that the lights are still on (to
avoid draining the battery).
Operating faults
If the "WARNING: Check Lighting"
message appears, accompanied by
the warning light, and the
warninglightflashesonthein
strument panel, this indicates that
there is a lighting fault.
Consult an approved dealer.
Welcome and goodbye function
(depending on the vehicle)
Oncethefunctionisactivated,theday
time running lights and the rear side
lights will light up automatically upon
detectionofthecardorwhenthevehi
cle is unlocked.
They switch off automatically:
– approximatelyoneminuteafterlight
ing up;
– when starting the engine, based on
the position of the lighting stalk;
or
– upon locking the vehicle.
Activating/deactivating the function
To activate or deactivate the external
welcomefunction,pleaseseethemul
timedia instructions.
Select "ON" or "OFF".
"See-me-home lighting" function
This function enables you to briefly
switch on the side lights and dipped
beam headlights (e.g. to provide light
when opening a gate).
With the engine stopped, the lights
off and the ring
