Replacing the set-up tool battery
The set-up tool requires a ½ AA size battery that is rated at 3.6 V (for more information, see the “Battery
specication” in the table below).
1. Lift the top cover and slide forward by hand to expose the battery.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Carefully t a new battery. Refer to the markings on the circuit board for the correct orientation.
4. Ret the top cover.

The set-up tool requires one ½ AA size battery, rated at 3.6 V. It is important to ensure that the battery is
supplied in standard form. Batteries that are described as tagged have additional connection tag features
tted to the terminal and are not suitable.
Typically, this specication can be provided by a cell containing Lithium-thionyl chloride (3.6 V). This is
recommended for maximum battery life. A Lithium-thionyl chloride (3.6 V) battery will last the equivalent of
700 hours’ continuous operation.
