Duringprinting,nevercutoffthepowersupply,unplugtheUSBcableorremovetheSDcard.
• Theprintqualityof3Dprintersdependsonmanyfactors.Themostimportantonesare:
- print speed
- layerthickness
- build bed calibration
- temperature
- ow
- lamentmaterial
- 3D model structure
• Itisnotalwayspossibletoachieveasatisfactoryprintresultattherstattempt.Adjustmentsandnetuningare
necessarytoimproveprintquality.
• Everymaterialrequiresdifferentprintsettings.
• Avoidoverhangsgreaterthan45°.Ifnecessary,usethesupportstructureoptionin“Cura“andremovesupports
afterprinting.
a) Nozzle temperature
• Thebestnozzletemperaturedependsonthelamentmaterialaswellastheprinterlayerthickness.Theprinting
temperatureofthelamentvariesdependingonlamentmaterialandlamentmanufacturer.Alwayscheckthe
specicationofthelamentbeforeprinting.ForbestresultsitisrecommendedtousegenuineRenkforcelament.
• Performthersttestprintsatthedefaulttemperature.
• Tooptimize the print quality, print the same object with the same printing layer thickness but different nozzle
temperatures.Selecttemperatureseachdifferentby5°Cfromthepreviousone.Comparetheresults.
Thisway you can nd suitablenozzle temperaturesfor differentlaments andprinting layer thicknessesmore
easily.
• Ifthenozzletemperatureissettoohot,thematerialcannotcooloffquicklyenoughandwillmeltthelayerbelow
again.
• Ifthenozzletemperatureistoolow,thelamentdoesnotmeltproperlyandthelamentowisnon-homogeneous.
Forthesereasons,theindividuallayersdonotmelttogethersufciently.
b) Prevent nozzle clogging
• Donotleavethenozzleatahightemperatureforalongtimewithoutprinting.
• Keepthenozzleatleast20mmawayfromthebuildbedduringloadingoflament.
• Unloadthelamentafteruse.
