6. MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
Generally speaking it is most important is to keep your equipment clean. Clean equipment will not wear down as fast,
hence a
longer service life can be achieved.
WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT DURING MAINTENANCE. ENSURE THAT THE USED HYDRAULIC OIL IS
COLLECTED AND DISPOSED OF IN A RESPONSIBLE MANNER.
6.1. MAINTENANCE AFTER USE
ACTION EXPLANATION ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. Check the product and hoses for any
damage.
• Visually check for damage.
• Check the unit for oil excessive leakage.
• Check the arms for excessive wear.
If structural damage to the product
is discovered, contact your Resqtec
distributor/supplier.
2. Check the accessories for any damage.
• Visually check for damage.
• Check the jaws for excessive wear.
• Jaws and pins must be able to be
detached and reattached without
difculty.Alsothereshouldnotbetoo
much backlash due to wear.
If structural damage to the product
is discovered, contact your Resqtec
distributor/supplier.
3. Check the dead-man’s handle.
• Check whether it automatically returns
to its neutral position after the handle is
turned and released.
If the dead-man’s handle is not
functioning properly, contact your
Resqtec distributor/supplier.

Clean and dry the product and
accessories used before storage.
• Preferably use dry, clean paper cloth.
• Mild soapy water can be used if
necessary.
Do NOT use any oil.
Dry thoroughly after using water.
