6.2. REGULAR MAINTENANCE
It is advisable to carry out regular maintenance; depending on the use at least every 3 months or 25 operating hours.
When carrying out regular maintenance one should, in addition to the steps described in chapter 6.1, pay extra attention to the following:
MAINTENANCE ON COUPLERS
The
standard
Quick
Action
Couplers
are
lubricated
by
the
hydraulic
uid.
Clean,
good
working
couplers
therefore
need
not other means of lubrication.
IF APPLICABLE; CHECK ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS IN TYPE SPECIFIC QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE.
INSPECTION ON HOSE ASSEMBLIES
DO NOT TAKE UNNECESSARY RISK BY UTILIZING FAULTY HOSES! WORN OR DAMAGED HOSES CAN CAUSE SERIOUS
INJURY AND/ OR DAMAGE TO THE RESQTEC SYSTEM AND OTHER PROPERTY.
1. Check and clean the couplers thoroughly.
• Preferably use dry, clean paper cloth.
• Mild soapy water can be used if
necessary.
• Verify smooth operation by connecting
and disconnecting al couplers at least
three times.
Do not use any additional means of
lubrication as some products might
have a negative effect on the
connector.

Thoroughly check the hoses for any wear,
cuts or bruises.
• Visually check for damage.
• Check the hose assemblies for oil
leakage.
All but the smallest anomalies should
be subjected to further inspection by
an authorized person. When in doubt
ALWAYS replace the hose!
2.
Connect all components and test all
functions and accessories.
• All tools should make at least two
complete cycles.
