5.6 Probe - electrodes positioning
The burners are supplied with the combustion head and elec-
trodes already assembled.
5.7 Securing the burner to the boiler
In order to fix the burner to the boiler, proceed as follows:
secure the pipe of the train 8)(Fig. 17) to the threaded joint
of the gas mixer 21) using a suitable sealant for the gas
seals.
Fix the gas valve 20) to the flange using the 4 screws 18)
supplied as standard.
Be aware of the presence of the gasket 19) and the gas
seal.
Insert the pilot train 27)(Fig. 16) on connector 28) and
tighten the nut fully home.
Check that the sealing ogive is inside the connector.
Screw the studs 2) onto the boiler plate 1).
Position the refractory gasket 3).
Fix the flange 5) to the boiler plate and tighten the nuts 4).
Before fixing the burner to the boiler, make sure
the probe and electrodes are positioned correctly
as in Fig. 15.
Provide an adequate lifting system.
The seal between burner and boiler must be air-
tight.
Use a suitable sealant and check the general gas
seal during operation, in particular with respect to
tube 18)(Fig. 17).
During this operation, take care not to touch the
electrode unit.
