Module Plug
None of the current M300 modules are hot-swappable. To avoid damage, you can
select the mainframe response below. Use the up/down direction keys to select Card
Plug and use the left/right direction keys to select the way in which the instrument
responses to the hot plug
[1]
of the module.
Restart: the instrument restarts automatically. If you insert the module during a
scan, the instrument restarts and resumes the scan.
Confirm: a prompt message is displayed. At this point, users need to confirm the
module connection.
Ignore: the instrument does not execute any operation and automatically
recognize the module. Usually, the system works more efficiently when Ignore
is selected.
CAUTION
In any situation, hot plug might result in unstability as well as product
damage or data loss.
Note
[1]
: Hot plug/hot swap is defined as inserting or removing the module without turning off the
instrument.
Analog Output
Select Analog Output using the up/down direction key and select “OFF” or “ON”
using the left/right direction key to open or close the analog switch on the back
board inside the M300 main frame.
The analog switch on the back board inside the M300 main frame is used to control
the connection between the multiplexer module and DMM module. When the switch
is open (“OFF” is selected), the multiplexer module and DMM module is not
connected; at this point, M300 cannot measure the signal input from the multiplexer
channel correctly. To acquire correct measurement, close the switch (select “ON”).
Brightness
Use the up/down direction keys to select Bright and use the left/right keys to adjust
the brightness between 0 and 15 (the default is 8). The current setting is stored in
non-volatile memory.
