3: Fitting Hardware Options
System Board Upgrades
Note:
Links on the system board may need moving for any of the system
board upgrades. Refer to the System Board User’s Manual (if
provided).
Processor
There are a number of different processor upgrades (depending on
the model of computer) which can enhance the performance of your
computer.
If you wish to purchase any of these upgrades, contact the RM Sales
Desk for more details.
Drive Upgrades
Your RM One computer can have a number of different drive
upgrades. Your model may have a 3½ inch floppy drive and CDROM
drive already fitted.
Note:
Your computer may have been supplied with additional drives as fitted
options.
Specific fitting instructions are provided with all drive upgrades.
Fitting a Drive
These instructions assume you have removed the rear cover
according to the instructions given previously and that you are looking
at the rear of the RM One PC.
1. Unscrew the three screws attaching the drive side panel and
remove the panel. This should be teased away gently,
pivoting around the front edge.
