Waste Water Tank Flushing:
To flush the waste water tanks:
1. Empty both waste tanks as detailed on page G-5.
2. Fill the black waste water tank by inserting a hose into the toilet or by using the water pump and the shower
head, (be sure to step on the flush pedal, so that the toilet gate valve door stays open to prevent the
toilet from overflowing) and fill the grey waste water tank using the galley sink.
3. Dump both waste tanks using the procedure outlined above on page G-5.
OUTSIDE SHOWER:
The outside shower faucet is found in its own compartment
behind the driver side rear wheel on the RS, and above the
rear wheel on the SS model. Remove the shower hose from
the storage compartment and attach it to the exterior faucet
spout, (see Picture G-P13). The shower hose must be returned
to the storage compartment before the van is put into
motion, as to prevent damage to the unit.
POTABLE WATER SYSTEM DRAINING:
To completely drain the fresh water system of all water:
1. Ensure that the water pump is off and that your
vehicle is level.
2. Drain the fresh water tank by opening the exterior fresh water drain cap at the low point drain, on the
exterior fresh water tank, (see Picture G-P3 on page G-2).
3. Open all water outlets including the sink faucet, aisle shower faucet, external shower faucet, and toilet
flushing pedal. The toilet flushing pedal can be propped open or opened manually several times. This
procedure allows gravity to draw any remaining water out through the fresh water tank low point drain.
4. Your vehicle is equipped with a water heater, follow the manufacturers instructions for draining.
5. Turn on the water pump until water is no longer pumped.
6. Turn off the water pump.
If this procedure is followed, it is not necessary to blow out the water system. Once the system is drained, be sure
to close all faucets and replace drain cap before driving.
NOTE: Do not allow water to sit in the fresh or the waste tanks when vehicle is not in use.
