LIMITED WARRANTY INFORMATION
Doc No: 21906540-RSAD Rev: 02 Copyright © Roadtrek Motorhomes Inc. 2010 J-1
LIMITED WARRANTY DEFINITIONS
Roadtrek Roadtrek Motorhomes, (A Division of Roadtrek Motorhomes Inc.).
Dealer Dealer or any wholesale buyer of recreational vehicles, authorized by Roadtrek.
Vehicle Any recreational vehicle manufactured by Roadtrek Motorhomes.
Purchaser Registered owner of the Vehicle and/or purchaser of the Vehicle.
Warranty Card Roadtrek Limited Warranty Registration Card specifying Purchaser of Vehicle.
All vehicles are covered by a three part limited warranty: Automotive Warranty, Appliance Warranty, and Roadtrek
Limited Motorhome Warranty.
ROADTREK LIMITED WARRANTY REGISTRATION
It is very important that the Dealer complete the Roadtrek Limited Warranty Registration, (at the bottom of
the QualityCare Pre-Delivery Report) on each Vehicle and fax it to Roadtrek within 48 hours from the date of
retail delivery. Roadtrek uses the information on the Limited Warranty Registration to:
1. Notify DaimlerChrysler to start the automotive, (chassis) warranty in the Purchaser's name as of the date
of retail delivery.
2. Maintain records for the Roadtrek Limited Motorhome Warranty and for any recall notifications.
If Roadtrek doesn't receive this information, when the Purchaser tries to have automotive warranty work done, the
Purchaser, the Dealer and Roadtrek will be severely inconvenienced until this information is received and
processed by DaimlerChrysler.
AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY - DAIMLER (MERCEDES AND FREIGHTLINER SPRINTER CHASSIS)
The warranty currently offered by Daimler Chrysler covers the manufacture of the Sprinter chassis. Although the
Purchaser will receive the full time period of the warranty, such warranty does not make an allowance for the miles
on the odometer at the date of retail delivery ??. In other words, the warranty ends when the odometer reading
reaches the limit as specified by the selected warranty, regardless of the odometer reading at the date of retail
delivery. See the Sprinter Warranty Information booklet for details.
For Sprinter chassis sold through RV dealers, Roadtrek uses the information on the completed Warranty Card to
notify Daimler Chrysler to restart the automotive warranty in the Purchaser's name as of the date of retail delivery.
Upon receipt of the Warranty Card, Roadtrek completes and mails the appropriate forms to Daimler Chrysler who
in turn enters this information into its computer system, (please allow 8 to 12 weeks for this information to be
processed and appear on its computer system). If warranty work is required before this process is completed and
the Vehicle's V.I.N. number appears on the Daimler Chrysler dealers computer, the Purchaser should ask the
Daimler Chrysler dealer to enter the Purchaser's name and address and date of retail delivery into the computer. To
prove the vehicle is still under warranty, the Purchaser should show a copy of the bill of sale to the Daimler
Chrysler dealer.
If Roadtrek doesn't receive the completed Warranty Card, when the Purchaser tries to have automotive warranty
work done, the Purchaser, the Dealer and Roadtrek will be inconvenienced until this information is received and
processed by Daimler Chrysler.
