NOTE:
The following sections describe some function tests using the
Power Supply NGMO2 as an example.
This version is equipped with analog boards A and B.
The function tests also apply for NGMO1, in which case the tests
are limited to analog board A.
All descriptions and specifications concerning channel B must be
ignored.
8.1 Function Tests by using the Service Functions
Power Supply NGMO (Vers. 1.00) has the following service functions
integrated, which can be called up via special IEEE or serial commands
(COM).
These service functions are on the one hand used to test the installed
interfaces, and on the other to test the following functions and assem-
blies and to make the following adjustments:
• Set electronic serial number
• Set NGMO device name
• Communication test with analog boards
• Display blank test
• Display unblank test
• Keyboard and knob test
• Control I/O test
• INHIBIT ON test
• Switch off test functions
