8.1.4 Communication Test with Analog Boards
Description The following remote commands can be used to test whether the
communication between the main computer on the processor board
and the two satellite computers on the analog boards works correctly.
For this purpose a test number can be transmitted to one of the two
satellite computers, which can subsequently be read back in a second
step.
8.1.4.1 Commands for channel: A
Function test
• Send the test number with the following remote command to the
NGMO:
rus:a:service:slave:comm:test NUMBER
The test number may be any number between 0 and 65535.
• Read out the test number with the following remote command:
rus:a:service:slave:comm:test?
Fault rectification
• If an error occurs:
• Replace the analog board as described in chapter 9 or
• replace the processor board as described in chapter 9.
8.1.4.2 Commands for channel: B
