8.1.2 Setting the Electronic Serial Number
Function test The electronic serial number is stored in the EEPROM of the Power
Supply NGMO.
• Read out the serial number with the following remote command:
*IDN?
Fault rectification In case of an occurring fault:
• Reprogram the serial number.
Setting, input After replacing the processor board this replacement board must be
reprogrammed to the serial number of the unit (located on the back of
the unit).
• Enter the serial number using the following remote command:
rus:service:set:device:serial:number “SERIAL_NUMBER
_STRING"
Instead of the: SERIAL_NUMBER_STRING you must enter the
serial number of the unit, as it is printed on the back of the unit.
Quotation marks (") must also be entered.
