5. Press the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select the parameter.

MEMO
In some pages with multiple parameters, press the [DATA/ENTER]
repeatedly to select one of them.
6. Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to change the value.
7. Press the [EXIT] button to deselect the eld.
How to type a name in FR-8x
When using FR-8x it will happen you have to enter the name of a
User Program, Play List, etc.
In the example above we have the page of User Program writing.
The rst character of the eld name is already selected (see the
character with a white background).
8. If necessary, select a dierent character position by
rotating the [DATA/ENTER] knob.
9. Press the [DATA/ENTER] knob to conrm your selection.
A character in the keyboard is now shown:
10. Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select the desired
character in the keyboard, then press the knob to conrm.
The new character is inserted in the eld name and the next
position is selected (see the character with a white background).
11. Now you can repeat the step 10 to enter the remaining
characters.

If you need to select a dierent character position in the
eld name, press [EXIT] button and repeat from the step 8.
The keyboard buttons below allow you the following operations:
Keyboard Button Explanation
Press this button to switch between upper-case,
lower-case characters.
Press this button to switch to numbers and symbols.
Press this button to insert a character.
Press this button to delete the selected character.
12. Press the [WRITE] button to save your setting.
