Health Check:
Rosemount 3102/3105
Series transmitters
This section is for health checking HART transmitters. Parameters mentioned
here relate specifically to the Rosemount 3102 and 3105 HART transmitters.
For a full menu map of these HART transmitter parameters, see Appendix C.
Readings from the HART transmitter
Menu: MAIN MENU / MONITOR / Transmitter Tag / READINGS
Variables:
D900 Xmtr PV (Live PV value in feet or metres)
Primary Variable values from the HART transmitter.
D901 Level (SV) (Live level value in feet or metres)
Secondary Variable values from the HART transmitter.
D902 Distance (TV) (Live distance value in feet or metres)
Tertiary Variable values from the HART transmitter.
D903 Xducer Temp (Live temperature value in °F or °C)
Fourth Variable values from the HART transmitter.
Current:
D906 Current Output (Live mA measurement)
Displays the actual current output from the HART transmitter.
D905 % Current Out (Live %)
Displays the percentage of 4-20mA range output from the HART transmitter.
Diagnostics available from the HART transmitter
Menu: MAIN MENU / MONITOR / Transmitter Tag / DIAGNOSTICS
Diagnostics:
D910 Distance (Live measurement in metres or feet)
This displays the live distance to target.
D911 Echo Size (Live %)
This displays the strength of the return echo on a scale of 0 to 100%.
D912 Echo Success (Live %)
This is the echo success rate, which is 100% unless echoes are being lost.
Generally, echo loss may be due to positioning of transmitter, obstructions,
poor surface conditions, etc. For guidance, refer to Section 3: Installation.
D913 Target Echoes (Live maximum value of 3)
This is the number of recognized echoes within the measurement range
shown in Figure 5-1.
D914 Speed of Sound (Value in m/s or ft/s)
Displays the speed of sound in metres per second or feet per second, as
applicable.
