Rosemount 3490 Series
RS232 Connections The RS232 connections, terminals 4-6, may be used for exchanging data with
a PC or a handheld device.
Model 3493 is supplied with a data-download socket. Connect the
flying leads from the socket provided as follows:
• 4 - white (RX)
• 5 - Red (TX)
• 6 - Black (0V)
