6.4.2 Connection of models 600
6.5 Commissioning
Before switching on the unit, make sure that all the closing panels are in their right place and
tightened with the appropriate screws.
For the first commissioning of the unit, follow these instructions carefully:
Make sure the gate valves of the refrigerant, if present, are open, the hydraulic system has
been bled eliminating any residual air, filling it gradually and opening the vent on top.
Ensure that there are no hydraulic leaks.
6.5.1 Switching on the unit
Hold the stand-by key pressed for 3 seconds if OFF appears on display when the unit is
powered; a buzzer will sound and the dehumidifier is now switched on.
The unit remains in stand-by for as long as the humidistat contact remains open.
The unit activates when the humidistat closes the contact, or dehumidification is requested.
The ventilation and the compressor switch-on after the 5 minute delay set by default.
Refer to the specific paragraph for all other functions (user terminal).
6.5.2 Calibrating the unit
We recommend measuring the intake air flow rate during unit installation. The fan's speed may
require varying in some cases. This function is essential for proper operating of the unit.
The ideal air speed for units CN+ 300, CN+ 300 DC and IN+ 300, IN+ 300DC is about 1 m/sec
(intake) and corresponds to air flow rate of 250 m³/h; if lower air speed is measured by over
than 15%, the fan's electric connection on appropriate terminal board must be modified and the
most suitable speed connected; the unit is default connected to average speed.
