8. Maintenance and diagnostics
8.1 Failures and anomalies
The following pages list the most common causes that may cause the blocking of the unit, or at
least a malfunction. Its dividing is made according to the symptoms easily detected.

Be very careful when performing the operations proposed for solving various problems: excessive
self-confidence may cause serious injury. It is recommended that, once detected the cause,
contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician.


The unit does not start
No power to the unit
Verify its presence on the power
terminals
The user terminal is OFF
Hold the Stand-by key pressed for 3
seconds to switch-on
Some alarms are active
Check the display, eliminate the cause
and re-start
The unit has been recently started
and the compressor starts on delay
Wait a few minutes

The compressor does not
start
Intervention of the internal thermal
protector
Disconnect the power to the unit, wait for
the compressor to cool down and verify,
reconnecting the power, if it starts again.
Identify the cause of the intervention and
eliminate it
Protection of high pressure on the
refrigerant circuit
Refer to fault no. 4

The fan is noisy
A distribution channel has been
connected that has deformed the unit
remove the channel's fixing screws, and
fix it differently

Alternate flashing of "E0" and
"On" writing, flashing of alarm
presence indicator and buzzer
High pressure anomaly present due
to insufficient air flow rate
Check the fan turns correctly
Check the cleaning of heat exchange
coils and filters
High pressure anomaly present due
to insufficient water flow rate
(hybrid version DC only)
Check for pressure drops and correct
functioning of hydraulic circuit. Check
inlet water T is not excessively high
WATER probe fault.$
(Errors could be caused by short-
circuit or probe interruption)
Check WATER probe state.$
Replace the probe if problem persists.
