The installation of an insulating layer (mattress) between the casing's sheet metal and the
unit's sheet metal, is recommended to avoid noise and vibrations transmissions.
6.1.6 Rotation fan panel for upward supply
A simple modification as illustrated below can be made for applications requiring upward
supply:
Disconnect voltage before making the modification, do not remove other screws.
6.2 Ducting
6.2.1 Vertical unit
The vertical unit is configured for positioning inside the casing [optional]; it is therefore not
prepared for being ducted in flow or in intake.
A flow flange (optional) can be assembled for different applications where the unit is not
positioned inside the casing; to assemble, refer to horizontal 300 unit assembly.
6.2.2 Horizontal unit
The unit CN+ DC is fitted with flange for supply ducting.
On the unit CN+ The supply flange can be mounted (optional).
Not all horizontal units are prepared for intake ducting.
CAUTION:
Manually turn the fan and check that its rotation is not obstructed, before powering once
modification is completed.
DANGER:
Fixing an intake duct or flow duct on the unit using screws, rivets or other systems without the
appropriate flow flange (optional), can jeopardize the correct operation of the dehumidifier and
invalidate the warranty.
DANGER:
Fixing an intake duct on the unit using screws, rivets or other systems, can jeopardize the correct
operation of the dehumidifier and invalidate the warranty.
