I ATTENTION:
Prior
of detaching
any wiring, mark
connection
to ensure
correct re-
assembly.
Decide
whether
to leave
the subframe
of engine
suspension
fitted
to bulkhead
or
to remove
engine
along with
suspension.
Normally,
with
all connections
to
engine severed,
the RFI
suppression
box
and
carbs will
remain
in
the
aircraft.
After lifting
the engine
out of the
aircraft, remove
the right, lower
coolant hose
and than
attach
the
engine
at
its
right
crankcase half
(cast
mark
"re")
to
the assigned
tresrle
(877
230)
fitted
on
your
bench,
utilizing
two
M10
screws. Ensure
min. 20
mm
(.79
in.)
thread
engagement.

NOTE:
when
removing
coolant hose from
the aluminium
inlet
elbow,
don't
use
a
screwdriver
or any
other sharp
tool for
reason
of
possible
damage.

Re-installation
of engine
into
aircraft
Generally inverse
rcmoval
procedures.
However, pay
attention
to the following:
-
After
fining
carbs,
check
function
and
easy movement.
-
Check function
of throttle
and
star:ting carb cables.
-
Carry
out
uniform
primary
setting
of carburetor.
Turn
back
idle
adjustment
stop
screw
to
close
throttle
valve
and further
to
clear
0,1 mm
(.00a
in.)
feeler
gauge,
and
then
open
throttle
by turning in
screw 1,5
turns.
-
Connect
pick-up
cables
to
electronic box
according
to wiring
diagram.
-
Connect
the
8 high
voltage leads
according
to wiring
diagram
and scheme
on
cover
of
interference
suppression
box
to spark
plugs.
-
Check routing
of
fuel lines.
-
Check oil-
and
coolant level.
Replenish
as
required.
I ATTENTION:
Ensure
that all the
suspension screws
are
tightened
and wire-secured
where
applicable. Don't
connect banery
before
all the installation
is
complete
and
ensure ignition
switch
is in
"OFF"
position.
