SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - OUTDOOR ANTENNA CONNECTION
Grounding an Outdoor Antenna
If the AM/FM tuner is used with an outdoor
antenna, the antenna must be grounded against
static charges and voltage surges. Consult the
instructions that came with the antenna or contact
the antenna manufacturer for proper installation
instructions. The diagram gives a general depiction
of how an outdoor antenna should be grounded.

procedures, please consult the National Electrical
Code, Section 810, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-1984.
