8.2 Installing the mounting plate
The smoke detector can be mounted with the mounting plate
either on the ceiling or via a standard installation socket.
Choose the installation location carefully (see Section 7. Installa-
tion location).
8.2.1 Ceiling mounting
Attention! When choosing the installation location and
drilling close to existing switches or sockets, pay close
attention to the routing of electrical lines and existing
supply lines.
