Once the batteries have been inserted, the operating LED of the
wireless module will briefly flash red, green and orange in turn,
and the red signal LED in the test button will flash approximately
every 48 seconds. This indicates that the unit is ready for opera-
tion.
Step 4: Twist the smoke detector clockwise to lock it in the
mounting plate. When positioning the smoke detector
on the mounting plate, note the red triangles on both
elements.
Used batteries do not belong in the household waste!
Please take them to your local battery collection point for
disposal.
12 Resetting the device to its delivery condition
To reset the smoke detector to its delivery condition, proceed as
follows:
Step 1: Remove the device from the wall bracket by carefully
turning it to the side.
Step 2: Use a narrow object to press the button and keep it
pressed for 5 seconds.
