To install the smoke detector, proceed as follows:
Step 1: Use the holes in the mounting plate (see (A) in the
illustration on page 45) to mark two mounting points
on the ceiling.
Step 2: Drill two holes.
Step 3: Insert the dowels.
Step 4: Use the two screws to install the mounting plate.
Continue with Section 8.3. Inserting the batteries and commis-
sioning the device.
8.2.2 Installation via a standard installation socket
To install the smoke detector, proceed as follows:
Use the holes provided (see (B) in the illustration on page 45) to
attach the mounting plate with two screws over the installation
socket.
Continue with Section 8.3. Inserting the batteries and commis-
sioning the device.
