operating LED on both smoke detectors will light up green for
two seconds.
The teach-in process for two smoke detectors together creates a
wireless network. Any smoke alarm issued by one smoke detector
in the network is automatically transmitted to all other smoke
detectors in the network.
To integrate a new smoke detector in an existing wireless net-
work, the teach-in process only needs to be performed with one
RWE SmartHome smoke detector in the existing wireless network.
8.4.2 Removing a smoke detector from a wireless network
To remove a smoke detector from a wireless network, reset it to
its delivery condition (see Section 12. Resetting the device to its
delivery condition). You can then integrate it in a new wireless
network by incorporating it in the SmartHome system.
8.5 Integration in the SmartHome system
Please note that a minimum distance of 1 metre must
be maintained between the SmartHome devices and the
central control unit.
