Prior to installation, make a note of the serial number (12
digits beneath the barcode) attached to the device and the
exact location of installation.
You will need these later on for integrating the device in
the SmartHome system.
To set the smoke detector to teach-in mode, briefly press the
button on the wireless module (see (J) in the illustration on page
48). The operating LED of the wireless module flashes orange.
If the teach-in process is not carried out, the unit automatically
exits teach-in mode after 20 seconds

8.6 Inserting the smoke detector in the mounting plate
If no more settings need to be made on the wireless module, the
smoke detector can be inserted in the mounting plate. When po-
sitioning the smoke detector on the mounting plate, note the red
triangles on both elements. Twist the smoke detector clockwise
to lock it in the mounting plate
