Laser Setup
In the laser setup menu the user will find critical parameters which
could have influence on lifetime and reliability
Therefore this parameters could be secured.
When it is not allowed to change these settings the text “Secure” is
displayed on top of the menu.
How to lock and unlock is described in the programming manual.
Label Description
I-Limit Sets the absolute max. current of the LD
Polarity Sets LD Polarity (see chapter Laser Diode
Configurations)
U-Compliance Compliance Voltage is the max input voltage
of the current source affects on the open
circuit detection
U-Relays Controls the supply voltage of the relay (Also
an analogue interface could be realized)
Cable Resistor Important for measuring the Laserdiode
Voltage. When selecting the value a self test
started and the cable resistance will be
calculated in mOhm
TEC Required Laser operation is only possible when TEC is
enabled
I-Limit 4000 mA
Polarity Pos
U-Compliance 10.1 V
U-Relais 12.0 V
Cable Resistor 593 mΩ
