Start-up and settings

7.8 Reset to default settings
This function resets all start-up parameters as
well as the diagnosis to the factory default
settings (see code list in section 14).

All start-up parameters as well as the diag-
nosis are reset to their default values.
− Code 36 - diAG allows just the diagnosis
data (EXPERTplus) to be reset. Refer to the
Operating Instructions for EXPERTplus
valve diagnostics u EB8389.
− The FACTORY_RESET parameter resets the
control and identication parameters as
well as the bus address. Refer to Congu-
ration Manual uKH8384-4.
7.9 Start-up via local interface
(SSP)
The positioner can either be start up, cong-
ured, and operated on site, using the eld-
bus conguration or operating system, or
TROVIS-VIEW operator interface connected
over the serial interface in the positioner. Use
the TROVIS-VIEW software with 3730-4 de-
vice module installed.
To connect the positioner directly to the com-
puter via the local serial interface, an adapt-
er (order no. 1400-7700) is required.
The power supply for the positioner can be
supplied either over the connection to the
eldbus segment or over a DC voltage
source (9 to 32V) connected to the bus ter-
minals in the positioner (a suitable intrinsi-
cally safe source must be used inside and
outside the hazardous area for intrinsically
safe positioners). The simultaneous operation
of TROVIS-VIEW and the eldbus system is
possible without any restrictions when con-
nected to a PROFIBUS-PA segment.
7.10 Setting the bus address
A maximum of 32 positioners in a safe
(non-hazardous) area can be operated in
parallel over a segment coupler in one PRO-
FIBUS-PA segment. Each positioner connect-
ed in the segment must be assigned a unique
bus address between 0 and 125.
